Come watch the river flow by from the porch swing! This cozy riverfront cabin with all the comforts of home is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Enjoy unforgettable memories, relaxing in the hot tub, swinging on the porch, or sitting around the campfire or with your feet in the river, listening to the peace and quiet and calls of the many birds in the trees around you. All pans and utensils are provided along with a coffee maker and toaster. All linens are provided.

Some other things to note about Bear Valley:

-The base rate includes 4 guests. Additional guests are extra. Please read the itemized charges carefully!

-The fireplace is only available from October - March.

-Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available, ask us!

-Dogs are welcome! There is a limit of 2, with a pet fee of $65 per dog. Unfortunately, we can't accept cats. Sorry about that!

-There is a separate security deposit required for this property. Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions about it- we are happy to answer them!

-There is no trash service in this area. We ask that you please take your trash with you- there is information in the cabin on where to go to take it so that you don't have to take it all the way home with you!
Alternatively, housekeeping can remove it for you for a tip of $5 per bag.

The entire cabin and surrounding yard are all yours!

Bear Bluff is located along a quiet main road in Luray, and right on the river.

We are convenient to: Shenandoah River (in the backyard!), Luray Caverns (22 minutes), Skyline Drive (30 minutes), Skyline Caverns (43 minutes), Cooters Luray (23 minutes), an 18 Hole Golf Course at the Caverns Country Club (20 minutes), George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah National Park, Bass Fishing, Trout Fishing, Wildlife Observation, Antiquing, Summer Swimming, Horseback Riding, Sightseeing, Hunting, Canoeing and Tubing.

Paddle down the river on one of 2 included canoes. Don't forget to wear your life jacket! (Both Child and Adult sizes provided)

We know you don't want to do laundry, but just in case you need to there's a washer and dryer waiting there for you.
Cook dinner on the gas grill!
